To allow a SouthCalIT consultant access to your computer please follow the desired "One-time Access" or "Ongoing Unattended Access" instructions below.
1. Click the option that matches the type of computer you have to download the software needed to provide you with remote support.
2. Click "Run" on the first prompt (If you are not presented with the "Run" option, save the file to your Downloads folder or any folder where you can find it easily).
3. Click "Run" again if prompted or find the file you just downloaded and open it to run it.
4. When a window like the one below appears on your screen, give the ID and Password to the consultant assisting you.
Option 2: Ongoing Unattended Access
To enable Ongoing Remote Support Access to your computer Click the single PC & Mac "Cloud" button below and follow the instructions on the following screen.
Click the option that matches the type of computer you have. Then proceed to RUN the download or FIND it in your DOWNLOADS folder and RUN it from there.
Make sure to CLICK CONFIRM at the end of the installation process.
Note: Do not use these links if you already have Splashtop installed on your computer. Instead use the link in option 2.
